December 2, 2023, marked the first-ever Christmas lighting of the Christmas Village at the park of Laguna College of Business and Arts. Students from Elementary, Junior High School, Senior High School, and College showcased their skills and talents by performing different acts during the program. Elementary students brought out their prowess by eloquently demonstrating storytelling performances; whereas the JHS students presented their excellence in arts and crafts skills by creating vibrant star lanterns or "Parol"; followed by SHS students who exemplified their expertise in singing and dancing through a Christmas jingle performance; and lastly, the College students who equally proved their talents via singing and spoken word poetry. The highlight of the event was the countdown to the lighting of the Christmas Village led by the President /CEO of the school Mr. Jose Ted L. Gonzales and his wife. To cap the evening event and make it more festive, the PM 1 Band of the Basic Education performed their roster of songs to the delight of all the students and employees.
The lighting ceremony signifies the peace, the joy, the hope and the love that the Christmas Season brings to all of us. May we share the true meaning of Christmas to everyone in our own way.
