MASTER OF ARTS IN EDUCATION MAJOR IN GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING

Description:
The Master of Arts in Education major in Guidance and Counseling prepares students to become proficient in the various aspects of school guidance and counseling. The course offers graduate coursework in the development and management of relevant and functional school guidance programs and services; the diagnosis of their students’ educational, vocational, and personal needs and concerns; the implementation of appropriate counseling techniques and intervention programs; psychological measurement and evaluation; and research methodology. Students are prepared to conduct scholarly research in the areas of guidance and counseling that will address relevant issues in their own school setting.


Admission Requirements:
1.  Must have recommendation from previous college dean and college instructor.
2.  Must take and pass the entrance examination for the master’s program.
3.  Must have most recent medical and dental health record.
4.  Must have the Original copy of the transcript of records.
5.  Must have a copy of NSO certified birth certificate.
6.  Must have a certificate of good moral character.
7.  Must have a copy of the honorable dismissal.
8.  Must have a copy of college diploma.
9.  One 2”x 2” copy of latest photo.
